    hi attorneys,

    i am currently on H-1B with employer A. i hv a job offer from employer B which is a mgr role based outside USA.

    i know that if i work for 1+ yr with employer B outside USA then i can come back to USA on L1-A visa.

    my question is - during this 1 yr period, can i work for employer B in USA on H-1B?

    Hi,
    My friend had done 7th Yr Extension last month. By Mistake she gave dates such that it showed that she was out of USA for 1 year. So the lawyer filed for 3 yr extension and USCIS permitted. Is this rectifiable?

    ALL,

    As expected this happened, but it happened sooner than expected.

    This expected sooner because CIR was voted out in Senate and this was not thought about by this goverment.

    Basically this was a close door arrangement between govt agencies which temporarily wanted to lower the friction by IV AND SIMILAR GROUPS.

    BUT finally I believe this will come to a rest once we have new government next year.

    Till that we are a tennis ball which can be tossed to any court.

    PS: I dont even have I-140 and not even applied for one.

    I'm in the 8th year of H1-B, BEC priority date 04/2001, just got a notice that the case was closed ?? and the lawyer is working to reopen the case.

    I have now a very good opportunity to work for another company, huge pay and benefits, a lot of pressure from this company to work for them.

    Pls who can answer 2 small questions:
    1. Do I have a chance to work for this company?
    2. It makes a difference if I'm currently in NJ and this new company is in Utah - thinking that maybe they are not so many applicants in that state? Just for the LC processing speed?
