Hi,
I just found this forum and it is really nice place to get some practical information from people gone through all this. I will be applying for Adjustment of Status as I am getting married to a US citizen and I am not. The only thing that I cannot figure out for now is:
Do I have to fill out I-130 and submit it along with the I-485? I am currently on H2B visa in the usa, never been out of status just extended my stay a couple of times. I have my I-94. Also my H2B will expire end of September. Do I have enough time by then to fill out my papers so I do not get out of status. I am getting married by the end of August.

Is H1 dual intent visa then?
If yes, can a person get h1b stamping even if I485 filed?

Can someone give me the site where i can get the current processing dates for PERM?
The Labour certification is going to be filed this month end, in that case how long i have to wait to file I140?
Also i heared that I140 and 485 can be filed together.
Is that true? if so what is required from my side to the attorney for those two stages.

My wife's finger printing fee was rejected last month even though we sent the correct fee. We sent the fee again.
But in the mean while, we also recieved our finger printing notices. Does anyone know as when we would get our EADs ?

The annual Consumer Electronics Show kicks off this week in Las Vegas. This is the gadget wonderland I've attended for the last several years. Due to my father's illness, I decided to skip this year's show. But I'm avidly watching online for announcements of the year's best new innovations. Hi All,
We [Me(applicant) and my Wife(H4)] finally received our EAD's last week from NSC :> I have 2 questions:
1. Can i work part time.....apart from my 8 to 5 job based on my EAD. If yes, does the part time job need to be related or similar to my 8 to 5 job?
2. We had our FP done before we got our EAD's. Do we have to go back for additional FP after receiving EAD's? Anybody with similar situation?
Appreciate everyone's time.

Thanks - I took this walking along a railroad bed that is no longer in use. I must have chased 10 of these things around before I finally got this one that would hold still long enough to get a descent shot.
