IV has started a donor Forum for contributing members.

Our monthly subscription based model will help members get access to this area for that time period. In the coming days we will be consolidating all previous subscribers who are continuing their subscription at present to be added as well. We will verify it and add you. If you have given a one time payment this month more than $25, we will be dividing it by $25 and the system will calculate the number of months you are subscribed. It does not make a difference to America, if a few hundred thousand foreign workers get their GCs today or 10 years later. The people America would really be concerned about are outstanding researchers, but then these people fall in the EB1 category which is always current and so they have no cause for complaint. The other category that the US is concerned about is cheap and illegal labor, but that is not related to GCs. So in short, there is nothing about the Eb2/Eb3 GC backlog that America needs to worry about.
The delay causes anxiety & frustration only for us applicants. So the impact is only on us.

There are lot of good/standard consulting companies ... Some are 'con' but they can't create massive impact , however the MNC's do MANIPULATION at a large scale.
I believe that small companies have a big impact too. As someone mentioned, check to see which companies filed GCs in the last 10 years....Infy, TCS or Small body shops?

We are 6th year H1B, but we only have a PD date of 27th July 2006.
My son turns 21 on 13th January 2008. We have an I-140 pending since August 30th 2006, which is probably a good thing because I understand that it will help to "extend" my son's time, provided it is not denied. There is no valid reason why it should be, and we have not taken up Premium Processing for that very reason.
However, with this July Visa Bulletin fiasco, who knows how long it will be before our PD date will come up again (EB-3 ROW) and we can file the I-485
Thus, I am really interested in the outcome of your case and the CSPA draft you have come up with. I have registered with Expat's Voice, as per your request.

I contributed $100 by Paypal and sent out an eamil to about 15 of my friends who are in the same boat as I am. My email mentioned everything IV is trying to achieve and encouraged them to contribute too. I hope atleast a few of them will come forward.
If all of us contributing can email our friends and encourage them to do the same - that might help contributions pour in faster.

Agree with you 100% - But Once you start a thread with assertive words peoples start relying on you.... I also posted lots of conversations between myself and USCIS but i was never assertive.
Anyway - this argument will go on forever.
Can we request SriKondoJi/likes not to post anything with strong Affirmative words unless they have some kind of confirmations beyond the general Public's assumption ??

I think this is high time for us to control our emotions and live with realities. Often times, the customer service representatives don't have up-to-date information of USCIS's policies, decisions, and announcements, and we should not take their response as granted. For example, If you call a service center 5 times a day and ask a same question, you will get five different answers. In fact, Srikondoji mentioned what he had heard from NSC customer service staff. So, we can blame neither Srikondoji, nor customer service staff, but only USCIS.:)

Pls mention Zoe Lofgren's letter to DHS and DOS and also NY time article while talking/ meeting your lawmakers. Guys,pls dot it and it is worth giving it a try. We will not loose more than what we have lost by this fiasco.

Well, It might make the PD's retrogress bit further. but atleast it would give people fair treatment.
It may not help at all.
Chances are once you make the arrival date as the priority date, USCIS/DOS would set the cut-off dates to reflect the earlier PD's. For example if it is now May 2001, it could retrogress to May 1995. I don't see any gains there.
